About Us

A family dental practice on 127 St in Edmonton, welcoming new patients for everything from a first checkup to full restorative care.

A Dental Home in North Edmonton

Hudson Dental is a family practice at 14010 127 St in Edmonton, led by Dr. Amarjit Panesar. We look after families across north Edmonton and the surrounding communities, and we are always accepting new patients.

We offer a full range of care under one roof — family and pediatric dentistry, hygiene and cleanings, cosmetic treatment, restorative work including crowns, bridges, dentures and implants, clear aligners, and a range of other services from sedation to emergency care. Whatever brings you in, you are unlikely to need a referral elsewhere for routine treatment.

We are open six days a week, including Saturdays, because the appointments people actually keep are the ones that fit around work and school.

What to Expect When You Visit

Your first appointment covers a comprehensive assessment of your dental needs and concerns, a review of your medical history, an examination by your dentist, and a cleaning with one of our hygienists. You will leave knowing what shape your mouth is in and what, if anything, needs doing.

Dr. Panesar will then talk you through the diagnosis and your options. In some cases treatment can be carried out the same day as the consultation, which saves a second trip.

We respect your time and work hard to keep waiting to a minimum. If you are in pain or dealing with an emergency, tell us — we make every effort to see people the same day.

Technology That Makes Treatment Easier

Panoramic x-rays give us a single wide image of the whole mouth, which makes it far quicker to spot bone abnormalities and fractures, cysts, impacted teeth, infections and tumours than with traditional films.

Intraoral cameras let us put a live image of your own teeth and gums on a screen in front of you. Most people find a treatment plan much easier to agree to once they have actually seen the problem.

And there are televisions mounted on the ceiling above the chairs. It sounds like a small thing. For anyone who finds dental appointments stressful, having somewhere else to look is not a small thing at all.

Care for Every Age

We see patients from infancy through the teenage years and into adulthood, so families can book together rather than running between practices. No referral is needed to become a patient here.

We always attempt to bill your dental insurance directly, and we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Any balance not covered by your plan is due at the time of service, and we will tell you what that is before treatment rather than after.
